Todays movie was damn cool " If youve got it, FLAUNT it" :D got it stuck in my head. Along with the " keep it light, keep it bright, keep it gay" and all the damn hot gay guys :D freaked sarah out like mad on the swings. AHAHAH OMGGGGGGGGGg damn funny. And we went around the whole school taking wierd photos :D and got the photo taking for our bio project done :D yessssssssssssss. And the mongyi show continues, with the first episodes being " mongyi and the artpiece" and also " Mongyi and her adventures with the camera, guest starring Deborah lim "
Plus, lately got to talk to the bulgy-eyed mr R, whos our art teacher for this year. Better teacher thalast years guy. Damn good artist, plus he doesnt talk like a normal teacher, slighty offtrack, so thats rad I guess.
Miss sie made us watch a movie called " Return to Paradise"
and it really made me sober up.
Its about these 3 friends and woahhhhhhh cause they were taking hash in malaysia, so when 2 of them left to go back to newyork, the 3rd guy got busted, went to jail. Then only 1 of the 2 guys returned to save the guy, cause if they return, they each get 3 years jail, but if they dont, the 3rd guy (Lou) dies. So only 1 guy, sheriff, returns. Damn sad, cause just as the judge was about to just send both of them to jail, the american press turns up and theyve written an article crtising the malaysian penitiary system, saying theyre too strict and all. So the judge gets pissed off, and sends sheriff to jail, while sending Lou to be hanged at dawn anyway,a nd the hanging scene is just heartwrenching.
It goes like, Sheriff is awakened by muffled screams, which gradually increase in volume. He walks to the front of his cell, and curls his fingers round the bars,peering out as far as he can. You can see that what he witnesses makes his blood run cold; his friend lou, being bodily dragged by four burly guards down the corridor, kicking and screaming " I'm not ready to die yet!!!!! I dont wanna die!!!!! " over and over again, tears running down his face, his scrawny body twisting and writhing and trying to find a way to escape. Then he's dragged out into the yard, ou tof sight.
Sheriff runs to the little window in his cells, which overlooks the courtyard, and in a bit he spots lou being dragged up to the hanging platform, and starts to frantically shout down to lou, till Lou looks up and sees him, his face looking all whit and pinched, and scared, not like a coward, but like a little child, alone and lost. Then what sheriff shouts down to Lou just about breaks my heart:
" Lou!! I see you!!!! youre not alone!!! LOU, I SEE YOU, YOURE NOT ALONE!!"
and he just tells him that, over and over again, and Lou stops struggling, even as they bind his hands and loop the rope around his neck. He just keeps looking at sheriff, and sheriff never takes his eyes off him, and they just look at each other one last time, then the executioner pulls the rope,
and its all over.
Just get you thinking, doesnt it?
